Taiping Zoo

Taiping Zoo
If you are visiting Maxwell Hill in Taiping, make plan to visit this well kept zoo at the foot hill of this popular hill resort. Located just beside Taiping Lake Gardens, this zoo is an ideal place for animals to thrive in their natural habitats. The natural lakes where lotus plants grow adds to the beauty of the surroundings. Being the wettest part of the country means that the lush greeneries here thrive and the still undeveloped forest makes it an ideal holiday destination for the entire family.

This huge signboard is located outside the zoo. You will not miss it

Visitors have a choice of visiting the zoo everyday including publicholidays either in the day time from 8:30am to 6:00pm or the night safari from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. The night safari zoo features the nocturnal animals. If you have the time, there is no reason why you can't go for both sessions.

The entrance fee for the day zoo is RM5.00 per adult and RM3.00 per child.
The entrance fee for the night safari zoo is RM10.00 per adult and RM6.00 per child.
